ABOUT UNITY

Hi welcome to Unity.

Between the two of us we have over 50 years experience in the equine world. From breeding to international show jumping, and still our love for the horse grows every day.

The reason we started Unity was that we saw so many people with so much enthusiasm who had become frightened or frustrated or confused with their horse, and an awful lot of horses that were frightened, frustrated and confused to the extent that the horse was sold and the owner gave up horses altogether or bought another horse only to have the same problem again. Why was this?

About 5 years ago we took a rare holiday and for the whole 2 weeks we talked about why? Then all of a sudden it hit us why was the answer. "Why?" is a question, and for many people there was no answers to their questions, no solutions to thier problems.

From this point on we made it our mission to educate people about safety, understanding, communication and basic training. We have helped people and their horses move forward together, given them answers to their questions, solutions to their problems, the results have been fantastic.

What we specialise in is removing the fear, reducing the frustration and replacing the confusion with understanding, so positive progression is achieved for both human and horse in unity.
